Loverboy Laboratories

I will die on this hill

Or take a lobotomy pill

Either way, I’ll love you still

And you’ll keep returning to me

There’s so much to drink

You’ll never have your fill

I'm your pearl white baby

Your beautiful guinea pig

Your sedation absolute

You’ll shelf yourself for now

And build me a playhouse

Litter my road with mousecatchers

If I walk around, I’m the devil

And once I get caught

The bottled self on the shelf

Will be revealed

and replaced, by mine

And each day, bit by bit

I’ll yield myself - and build

Your cottage, in my mind.
